Originally uploaded by dobrze. When my grandmother was still around, she had an annual tradition of taking my mom back to school shopping. She would always get her a new suit so she could go back in style...or "arrive" if you are Vanessa Hudges. Ahem. Anyway, my mom has kept up this tradition with me and we hit the mall to make it happen. We hit up New York and Company as well as Ann Taylor Loft. My mom spoiled me quite a bit. Then we ate lunch at Ruby Tuesday's. It was a really fun afternoon. Even just sitting and having lunch with my mom was nice. I love it most when it's just the two of us. This is a tradition that I definitely enjoy and hope to pass along to my children one day...if I have any :)
