Hi. I’m Cieria, but my friends call me Lily. As part of a NaNoLJers guest blog challenge I’m writing something for here and Dobbin is writing something for mine. So I don’t really know what to put but I’m going to have a go anyway. Okay I’m 18 and from England. Writing is my life. I write most of the time. Though I’m trying to get into the practise of writing every day and not managing it. Of course if I tell myself to not write for the day then I inevitably have picked up my pen (or sat down at my keyboard) and have delved back into my own little world by the end of the day.
At the moment I’m participating in Script Frenzy the sister site of NaNoWriMo so I should really be writing every day. But I’ve write two scripts coming up to a total of 160 pages and come to a bit of a halt. Mainly due to the fact that I started reading War and Peace half way through, which in retrospect might have been a bit of a mistake. Still I’ve nearly finished it so hopefully I’ll be writing again soon.
I think I should write a bit about what I’m writing at the moment. My two scripts that I’ve written so far were quite different. One was about a ghost who had commented suicide and ended up haunting a school, which was a very ironic tragedy. The other was about a team of magical detectives which is going to be a part of a series of novels that I’ve been writing (going to convert the script into a novel later on).
I should say that most of my novels these days tend to take place in the fictional world of Cieria (Which is where I got my username from) which is a medieval ish fantasy world. It changes with every book I write, in fact at the moment I’m adapting it to find a place for vampires, dragons and orcs. Because what’s fun about a world without those things?
So yeah that’s me. I probably could find more to say about myself but I think that I’ve rambled on for too long really. Anyway this has been fun. Thanks for letting me steal your blog for a bit Dobbin. It’s been great. (:
