(no subject)
If you couldn't tell by the icon and my general lack of posting, ONTD has pretty much swallowed my life via livejournal. These people are better than the commenters on doujin-moe sometimes.
But yea, updates. I passed all my classes this semester, nothing special because nothing except Slavic Vampire was really difficult. Or so says my roommate. Which I would like to touch on.
She's a biological science major, and she says my classes weren't difficult. No, they just weren't academic. I was constantly working on a paper or project or working physically in the theatre all semester, I was never without something that took my time and effort and creative skills. Yes, there is a difference between you spending hours in the library doing chemistry homework and me spending hours in the fine arts building doing huge research, costume renderings and set designs. But that doesn't mean mine was any more challenging. You like chemistry, I like theatre work. We had the same time put in, just mine was more creative. Because I like to think she would be as bad at my major as I would be at hers.
Also that girl gives me an inferiority complex like woah.
Anyway, rant for theatre aside, i'm actually waiting for my hair to dry right now. I had to wake up early because Juan and I are going to go see MCR in Tampa today, I got us VIP tickets for our one year anniversary, so hopefully that shoddy profile picture on facebook of me on the movie set will be replaced with one of me with the fabulousness that is Gerard, Frank, Mikey or Ray. Or that adorable little girl-that-I-swore-was-a-guy from their videos. It's an all day festival concert though so who knows when we'll see them. Gotta be there the entire time.
Plus I have to scalp some extra tickets so I can get Christmas presents for the family.
OH DID I MENTION I GOT A JOB? I'M NOT SURE IF I MENTIONED THAT.
Chili's waitress. Fuck. Yes. I'm going to be the most excited god damn Chili's waitress the world has ever seen, I fucking love that place and people. CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR AWESOME MONEY FUCK YEAH.
But anyway, i'm in Orlando right now for the concert, then have to drive back up to Tallatrashy so take my Slavic final (so much to fucking study hold jesus. Who knew vampires had so much to do with religion and social change, that's what i'm mostly being tested on) on Wednesday, then I head back down on Thursday. I don't care though, because I love those long car rides alone, singing to my favorite music and dancing and derping. There's no one else I know who wouldn't hate or judge me up there so I try to avoid having passengers as much as I can. Even if that means i would cut me $100 gas bill for this week down to $50.
THIS WAS MEANT TO BE A QUICK UPDATE DAMNIT. Anyway, he's gonna be here in $15 so I could probably not be in a towel.
