What is NaNoWriMo?
I read about National Novel Writing Month some time last Winter and I put it on the back burner since it was a nice long wait before November rolled around again.
Since August, I have embraced the giddy anticipation and I am finally at a countdown stage.
I know what you're thinking...Only a crazy person would relish the opportunity to write 50,000 words in one month (approximately 1,613 words per day)!
Well, I never said I wasn't crazy.
Life can be insanely busy, but November seems less booked than most months, and for me, I just really need a fun creative distraction right now.
I have a plan for when I will be accomplishing this whirlwind insanity, and even if I don't reach 50k, I am going to have a blast trying!
Now I just have to stock up on coffee, tunes, and flannel shirts...all important ingredients for writing-for me, anyway.
Ahhhhh, it makes me feel 15 again!
