What an awesome weekend! Friday I met up with Mike, Brian, and Cara for happy hour at Pitchers to have a drink and share some laughs. After that, I convinced Cara to accompany me to Brent's housewarming/sushi party ~ and we were both incredibly impressed! Cara now thinks that she actually might like sushi, and I was unbelievably impressed at their abilities with the different kinds of rolls. Such fun! Unfortunately I had to take off pretty quickly after dinner as I could feel my stomach beginning its daily routine of rejecting whatever gets put into it. *sigh* I'm ready for this to be over. 4 months of being this sick is ... sick.
Rented "Beyond Borders" on the way home on Saturday - what an amazing movie. I was so impressed that I watched it twice. Wow. After sleeping away most of the day on Saturday, I convinced msdestynie to accompany me to Phil's birthday party downtown at Old C's. We had a good time, but midnight hit and we were definitely ready to turn into pumpkins.
Looks as though the snow has finally stopped! Heh, snowing in April - I love Colorado! :)
