Random thinking
I am talking to my friend who is in the Air Force and learning all 3 of the Japanese languages. He was telling me that one of the dialects alone has 46 characters. Can you imagine?! So naturally, this led me to wonder about the English language and all that it entails. And all that know me are not surprised to hear that I now wonder about punctuation and its role. What would we do without punctuation?
