Why this curse to always be clean?

I hate taking showers. Does anyone else have this problem? No, it's not that I like being unclean. Dirty is not my thang, smelly is not the new fresh-scented. But showers, they're just so much work.

Sometimes I wish I was a boy. Here's what I imagine the showering process to be like if I had a penis:

My shower time is about 13 minutes long, if I'm quick. That's time from leaving to returning to the bedroom. That also includes brushing my teeth. Not exactly 3 minutes, but easier than your routine nontheless.

If I shaved my face everyday, it would be more. If I had longer hair, it would be more. If I lotioned my entire body, it would be more. So I'm able to cut out a lot of steps there, just as a guy who doesn't give a crap.

But of course we already knew that. I could start shaving to make you feel better.

And yeah, that was pretty hot.

Your shower time is a little bit longer, I always wondered what you do in there for so long...

I don't really give a crap either, but I gotta have clean and conditioned hair at least a couple times a week. And if I didn't lotion I'd be itchy all day. You know I'm pretty low-maintenance though.

PLEASE DON'T SHAVE!! I would cry, really I would.

my showers are not quite that extensive, but i do most of the same stuff, yet my shower time is like 5 minutes. the getting-ready-after-the-shower is like 15 minutes. what can i say? i'm good at quickies!

Seriously you can take a shower in 5 mins? How! I swear half my time is spent picking hair off my hands and body. I can't believe how much hair I lost in the shower.

Well, you could do what Kevin does during the summer. He just takes a bar of soap and scrub his hair along with the rest of the body all at the same time.

See this is what I'm saying. Why can't I just do that? Because my hair is thick and longish, and why can't I just be brave enough to shave it?
