health update

So I went in to see the rheumatologist, and she says I don't have any other symptoms of any auto-immune disorders, so "we're not going to go looking for something that's not there."  She ordered a bunch more blood tests (the only one I identified was Parvo, which is not only a dog disease) and had the nurse give me an injection of cortisone ( ( Read more... )

It's pretty common for specialists to just hold on to test results until the followup, and they call you if it's something to be super-worried about. Actually, I don't think I've ever been mailed test results for anything but the occasional pap.

Call and see if you can get another cortisone shot! The worst thing that'll happen is they'll say no.

It was just weird, because every other test I've ever gotten done through the network has mailed me the results. So I was expecting them in the mail.
