Waffle
I'm well and truly bored of my job. Fortunately for me two people (well, definitely one, probably two) have left the home and leisure department, leaving a nice vacancy on the music and video desk. The manager has been trying to get me on her department for a while now, and if she can get me the hours I want it'll be goodbye to soul destroying home shopping! And it would mean that I get to listen to music all day, of my choice! I know I'll bitch and moan about it when I'm there, I'll always bitch and moan about whatever job I have, but at least it'll be something a bit new. It'll also mean going full time again, but more money means more savings, which means it'll be easier to move next year!
I suppose I shouldn't be getting my hopes up, in case we can't agree on the hours, but still. Excited!
In other news, I'm wicked excited about next weekend. On Friday I'm going to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show, a midnight showing, dressed up as a Transylvanian (which isn't exactly difficult, I know!) and a party on Saturday, in the same costume because I'm lazy and a cheapskate ;) Do you all have plans, or are you not bothering? It's great to be happy about halloween again :)
Anyway, here's a picture of me, without my glasses (rare!). I took it, along with about a squillion others (not of me) when I went for a walk on Wimbledon Common on Wednesday. I went out feeling bummed, and a few hours of wombling later I felt really refreshed. I think I probably looked like an art student, taking pictures of squirrels and leaves and fallen trees. (Hey, I rhymed!)
I'm so glad I took the plunge and had my hair chopped. Man my cheeks are chubby...
