i was in my world civ class today, and my teacher made me think more in 1 hour than ive thought in the entire month.. he talked about religion, and it made me think...
every religion is a hodge podge of each other.
they are all the same, with different twists to them
and here we are, fighting over who is correct and who isnt,
but the same god/higher being(s) put us all on this planet
millions of deaths blamed on this God
millions died for this God
wars carried out in this 'God's' name
televangelists, missionaries, overreligious zealots,
the convert or die mentality is fucking stupid.
i will never understand.
humans killing humans in the name of this pacifistic higher being

what is this God?
how did he create everything we see here?
I say God isnt a higher being at all
God is the primordial ooze
the simple amino acids that created the foundation for life on this planet
and here i am, in the year 2007 AD
over 4 billion years in the life of this planet
and i am led to believe that im fucking special.
im the end all be all in this entire goddamn universe
i wonder where ego's come from.
and when i die, i really dont die, but i will live forever in spirit and be blissful to the max,
maybe have 1000 virgins waiting for me.
