Distinguishing Features (scars, long hair, etc.): She's a rather large woman in the sense that she's tall and strong. The actress has won multiple arm-wrestling tournaments and threw shotput, and the character is a football coach, so she's very fit.
Habits (chews fingernails, well groomed, etc.): Beiste tends to either give TOO MUCH EYE CONTACT when trying to intimidate or the like, or she's giving NOT ENOUGH when she's nervous or shy. Years of bullying over your appearance will do that to you.

Distinguishing Features (scars, long hair, etc.): Big green eyes, longish hair for a man, and a beard! He's also a little short.
Habits (chews fingernails, well groomed, etc.): He's very expressive and excitable, so you can basically read him like a book when he's being himself. However, when asked to pull a con he's a pretty talented actor, though Sherlock would probably still see through him.
