Here we are all dressed in sweaters and jeans like it's not June. It's nice to have a break from the opressive Georgia summer heat and humidity. Only the break has happened before the heat even starts, and that's kinda rediculous.
Got my car serviced today. and in doing so hung out with Brian, TJ, and Thomas. Tj's moving to Holland in July. One more one the list of movers and shakers. She idles at a sweet low purr, and leaps into motion at a touch. She's solid though the twistys, and sprints on the straightaways. She's a happy girl. Now I've just gotta fix the water leak in the trunk. AGAIN!!! I'm ready to see my family again. Everyone will be there for my Grandfather's Mass. I should prolly get some numbers from the phonebook and see whose still in town.
Moving in when I get back. Sweet. A place of my own. Finally.
mmmm...contentment. It's that feeling of knowing exactly where things are presently, knowing where you want them to be in the future, and knowing you can do what needs to be done to get them there. I like that feeling. I'll enjoy it while it lasts. Inevitably something unexpected occurs that throws things out of balance. It's just the way of things. From Chaos to Order and Back Again.
