1) I hate writing by hand. Not because it's tiresome but because my brain seems to have adjusted to using a word processor - my thoughts are all over the place and I edit, rewrite and rearrange A LOT. So whenever I have to write anything by hand it looks extremely MESSY reflects my writing process.

that happens to me too! any time i have to write a paragraph and not type any of it, it is a complete and utter mess.

4) There's this whole fantasy world in my head like there was when I was still a kid. Quite often, I engage in this sort of role-playing when I have imaginary conversations or am someone entirely different. I guess that's also where my obsession with fandom comes from. It's easy to dive into a different universe and get invested in these characters when you have the most hungry imagination ever.

i think everyone has a fantasy world. at least i hope so. or else you and i are just incredibly weird. ;)

I only really told my best friend about my fantasy creating head and although she has daydreams about HERSELF, she doesn't make up stories where she's an entirely different character. But I'm glad that other people do that, too. Even if it was weird, it's still fun. *hugs*

Hey, we share #1, 4 and 7! Computers have taken over, huh? My handwriting used to be pretty clean and elegantly shapely, now it's like I'm back to grade 1.
And the little imaginary alternate universes in our heads... Aren't they tempting? But don't worry, from what I read about writers it's pretty common among them. :) Me, I totally live in my head. Always have. Not that I can't do RL, I just...hm... process it. It's scarily addictive though. And plain scary at times: when I stare too long at my reflection in a mirror, I really feel like it's someone else. *shudders*

People do have distinctive individual smells, don't they. It's fascinating. The smell is our most primal sense too, so no wonder we're so receptive to it. Apparently, babies can recognize their mothers just by their smell.

You don't like cats? *frowns* I have three. :)

I had to laugh at #4. I think I get just what you mean. Substitutes suck. Especially in such a nice, sensual thing as food. ;)

Smell is SO IMPORTANT! Last week I walked into a store and I smelled laundry detergent AND WAS THROWN BACK IN TIME to when I lived with my host family in England. They totally used that to wash their sheets. It's weird that my nose has that kind of power over my memory. Lol.

The thing with the cats - I don't really dislike them PER SE it's just that I don't get them. I can't relate to them and they don't seem to like me either. Heeee.

Substitutes do suck. I'll eat almost anything though, as long as the quality is right. I love me some burger!
