Jim opened his mouth to tell him to stop, but no sound came out, and he continued to follow Bones over the floor, as if it was the most natural thing in the world. He was out of his mind. Maybe Sulu had been right. Maybe he was a little...kind of...fuck. Jim closed his eyes and followed McCoy, and if his head tilted to the side to give him more room, he didn't notice.

He'd been waiting for the words that would end this little dance of theirs. Waiting for the fist to meet up with his nose for an afternoon in the hospital, too...but neither came. And he wasn't about to complain.
Shifting so that one hand was splayed out against the small of the kid's back, holding their bodies in a line, Leonard brought his other hand up to cup Jim's head, holding him steady as he worked over his throat with lips and light, teasing teeth.
xDDD Get lots of sleep tomorrow! I demand it.do_it_in_threeJanuary 3 2010, 06:44:40 UTC
He couldn't dance like this, Christ. Well, he could, but he was used to doing it in Bones' position. This wasn't how he usually...well. Shit. Jim faltered on a step, and grabbed a t McCoy's shoulder, holding tight. This was bad, bad, bad, he knew that, right? Totally bad, but he wasn't thinking all that clearly. Or clearly at all. So the music hit a high point and Jim stopped trying to follow along. He pulled away from Bones' mouth, turning instead to kiss him, almost tentatively. This was a bad idea, a very bad idea.
Bah....looks like I might be staying over again today. Let's hope nota_doctor_not_aJanuary 4 2010, 10:46:45 UTC
He noted that stumbled step and sutomatically tightened his grip to catch the kid should he fall, but the trip didn't come. Just a sudden stand still, bodies pressed so close, his arms still wrapped around Jim and the music swirling around them.
And then they were kissing...and Leonard was cupping the back of his neck, thumb rubbing gentle circles under the kid's ear as he carefully deepened the kiss. Bad idea? Yes. Something they could avoid? Not for very much longer...
Fingers crossed!do_it_in_threeJanuary 4 2010, 11:00:57 UTC
Not much longer at all. Jim slid his arm around McCoy's back, holding on instead of shoving away. He had no idea what the fuck he was doing here. Not with the kissing, no, he knew what he was doing there. Kissing another guy? hell, kissing his teacher? Not a damn clue.
Here they were...and damn, the kid knew how to kiss. Leonard groaned a little into it, his hand carding through the short hairs at the back of the kid's neck as he explored his mouth. He could do this for hours...just like this. Just kissing him. But physics and his sense of time were at odds, and his lungs burned with the need for air long before he was actually ready to let go.
Because he just knew that as soon as he let go, Jim would be gone, and it would go back to the same old song and dance of tiptoing around eachother...
Jim had gotten pretty good at it, after all. There weren't many things he was good at. Well, outwardly. But he did need to breathe, and he pulled back to do that, hand fisted around McCoy's shirt, almost panting, leaning back against that hand at his neck.
Lips parted and Leonard groaned as he flicked out his tongue to catch one last taste before it faded. He was addictive, Jim. Addictive and dangerous, but he'd be damned if he wasn't hoping for more.
Carefully, testing the waters so to say, he ran his thumb along the edge of the kid's jaw. No doubt he'd run now that the moment was over, but he would hate himself if he just let him go without at least trying.
Yeah. Yeah, running sounded pretty good, and Jim shifted, glancing away from Bones. Or rather, away from Bones' mouth. "Uh," he started, weight shifting between his feet. Crap. Crap crap crap, now what?
