You know it's going to be an odd day when...

You wake up extremely groggy from sleeping too hard (like I didn't move all night but once to take my socks off) and realize you've been having a "nightmare" where you get your new planner but the planning pages don't look like they did online and now nothing is correct because you don't have enough space to write everything.

So that starts out the day - and then you trip on the top of your outside steps when your heel catches in your pant cuff and you have to leap the remaining two steps to the ground so as not to kill yourself (luckily you land with both feet planted.) At least the scare wakes you up.

And then you get to work and get everything laid out to make phone calls and plow through a To Do list when the finance person (who is totally awesome and sweet) shows up and suggests moving computers. You remember that while you've only been working in the left office, it's actually the finance office and the middle office is supposed to be yours but is currently lacking a computer as it died. There happens to be an extra computer that works (never mind the extra computer that doesn't worked but was hooked up and running next to the finance computer.)

Soo - from say 10 to 12 ish you spend your time crawling around (in dress pants though not nice ones) unhooking computers and cleaning up the ridiculous fire hazard of wires under the finance computer. By noon, you haven't eaten breakfast yet, or had coffee, or put your make up on, but you've disconnected and moved two computers and reconnected one in order to make sure it can print and get internet. You discover that there is no networking in the office so while this will provide you with an office complete with computer, all the important files, the business email, and all email contacts are on the finance computer. At this point, you start to stress visibly and your kind kind coworker decides perhaps you need some air so you both go to the store and then return.

And on a side note, your coworker thinks a mile a minute so she's always coming up with things to do or for you to do - just random extra thoughts and while it's good and helpful, it's stressful and makes you feel disorganized.

*deep breath*

That's how you know it's going to be an odd day.
