Warning: Talk of Gerard's drug/alochol abuse.do_come_inJuly 26 2008, 00:51:54 UTC
Brian loved being My Chem's manager. He wouldn't give it up for the world; in fact, he gave up his whole world to do it. It hadn't been because he'd been in love with the band's music or anything like that. It'd been because he'd met Gerard after the show and had understood exactly what he was saying about the band and their message.
From then on, he had wanted to be a part of it and he was. No matter what happened to the individual members, he could quickly see that the band, its message was here to stay. As long as he was needed, he would always be there.
Gerard had only really needed Brian specifically once in their entire professional relationship. Gerard had been curled up in bed and had pushed Frank - the only one who would stay with him - away, asking for Brian. When the other man had come crashing into the room and had seen Gerard lying on the bed, sweating and crying, he had knelt down next to him.
"Gerard?" Brian had pushed the greasy hair away from his eyes and frowned, concerned about the other man and the condition he was in.
"Brian, I want to get help." Hearing those words had made Brian remember the first day that they'd talked about the band. This was their life and Gerard had been so confident that he was going to make it work. And there he was, coughing and dying and still wanting to make the band work.
"Ok, ok." Brian would always be around, as long as he was needed.
A little Brian/Gerard shoved in there for you. Not much though.
