Dedicated: To theaerosolkid a.k.a. lilywhitelilith for Falling Up for how awesome it is. Just amazing awesome. Mostly random blacking out sucks, except when Jon Walker does it. Then good things happen.

Pairing: Brendon/Jon Walker (I'm sorry, I like his whole name.)

So, this wasn't the first time that Jon had woken up in bed with a naked man. It was however the first time that he had woken up somewhere strange with a naked man. Or boy. Whatever the technicalities, the other male looked at least five years younger than him. And that was weird.

He drifted back off to sleep, thinking that it would be better to deal with whatever was going on when he was fully awake.

The next time he opened his eyes, the room was lit by the sun streaming through the gaps in the curtains. The naked man had removed himself from the bed, but there was no note. The unfamiliar clothes that looked a size too small for Jon were still spread around the room.

He got up, carefully, and retrieved a pair of just-the-right-size boxers that looked clean enough and tried to find his way around the apartment. When he reached the kitchen, he found himself watching a thin, young man who was partially covered in flour, attempting to make pancakes.

"Hey sweetheart. I didn't think you'd wake up." The man had yet to turn around, and Jon saw the familiarity of his body movement. He looked around the kitchen and found that his things were spread amongst others. And this was weird, because he was fairly sure that his stuff was back at his house in Chicago. Not in this man's apartment.

"Um, hi." He was also sure that he didn't drink that much last night, and that he was in a bar with Tom, which means that he wouldn't have gone home with a stranger. The man turned to Jon now, hands on hips and Jon was sure that he remembered those eyes.

"Go on back to bed, Jon, I'll bring this in when it's ready. You need sleep anyhow." Jon nodded dumbly, doing what the man said. Because he was making pancakes. And he had nice eyes.

As soon as Jon had climbed under the covers of the bed, he was asleep again.

~~~
"I was like half asleep. How was I to know the gorgeous guy in my kitchen wasn't a stranger?" Brendon laughs whole-heartedly at his boyfriend and settles into bed with the pancakes.
"Whatever. Anyway, food!" And Jon laughs right back.
