music i've recorded since i've been here, including two new songs (dcfc - the sound of settling; the shins - caring is creepy) and a fucking awesome jam session between me and a boy i met named rylan who lives four floors upstairs. he is superb at guitar. the jam session we recorded is almost forty minutes, and it contains a lot of just playing around and talking. plus some cameos from the roomies. it was fun.
i have two posters on my wall: garden state and eternal sunshine. i've gotten like six thousand and four comments about both of them, and so far i have ten people interested in coming over to watch it. movie night!
rylan is adorable. his roomie matt is very hot. rylan has an ibanez acoustic and matt has a TAYLOR. fucking fantastic. and not to mention, matt believes eternal sunshine is one of the greatest movies ever and jim carrey's best movie ever. he is insane, but in that really good, mind boggling way.
the football games kick ass. i've been to both of them and i'm going to next weekend's vs. penn state. so much energy and so much ass kicking by the badgers.
alcohol. every time my roomies drink, it makes me realize how happy i am that i don't. for two reasons. 1. hangovers seem like they suck more than highschool, and 2. it's more than amusing to witness my roomies make asses of themselves. it's true entertainment. especially jo, who adds "sometimes" to every single thing that comes out of her mouth. "sometimes i don't like to wear shoes always." "sometimes it's not a good idea to call my parents all the time." "sometimes i feel like people sleep with their eyes open, and this is one of those times." haha. i love it.
sex and the city is awesome. sex and the suburbs--not as good.
classes. math blows. i hate math in general. spanish ain't bad. my roomie is taking italian 101. cool beans. physical systems of the environment. fucking awesome. my favorite class by far. i have it three times a week for an hour each day and a two hour lab on monday. so good. bio puppies. ha. kind of a joke and a silly class. today we learned how to construct a fresh water aquarium. actually, a friend of mine and i are going to a pet/fish store and checking out aquariums on wednesday. nice. fishtanks rock the casbah.
