don, its not desert conditions.

this story is about a traveller on a road who wasnt expecting harsh desert conditions. so it is assumed that the traveller wasnt expecting hot sandy winds and a perpetual scorch of the sun.

so as we do in singapore and taiwan and here in australia when its hot, we take it off ;) and when the wind blows, we put it on!
