So filling out paperwork to become Ubuntu Partner and noticed name Jeff Bailey on the updated by... So I sent Jeff an email. Sure enough he is working for Canonical now. We had a good conversation and it was funny to see things come full circle.
Have to evaluate whether it is worth investing money back for server installations (desktop installations) and getting escalation support. Also, need to research getting our team LPI certified and as part of that eventually Ubuntu certified. It brought back up the issue of
Safari again. As all the certification manuals are available there.
Had brief discussion about Asterisk based Ubuntu. Was encouraged to make something using
Launchpad in the way of custom Ubuntu distribution/device. Might be worth considering at some point.
So much stuff so little time. Back to exciting opportunities.
