-was looking for Matty and Mello wandering around the mansion when he hears several screams coming from one of the rooms. Near pokes a head out the door and finds himself standing in a suspicious-looking... cornfield?-
...is anyone here? It's... dark.
-the stalks rustle. Whatever's scrambling around among the plants are fast... and probably not much larger than little Near.-
[[ oh dear~ i just finished watching Alien vs. Predator. xDD expect chestbursters, predaliens, and mind control. <3~~ cruel mun is cruel to pup. ]]

[ooc: how do you want to do this? I volunteer L to have to stop, having been attacked by a facehugger, lie down at the edge of the cornfield and... ahem, pop, if you like. Or should the aliens already be out with them?... I just don't see how to make the thread last longer than 'and then they DIE' if that's the case.]

-Near listens very carefully, but the noises have totally stopped. Suddenly, something flew out of the bushes and hit Near in the face-
...OH MY GOD, E- L...! Th-There's something on my face...! -panicks, then realizes that whatever it is, it's not an alien, but probably the bloodiest thing he's ever seen.... for now.-

(L runs. He can feel himself needing to stop- so while he still can, he bounds them through the field, taking advantage of his leg length as much as he can, while carrying a child.)

(He tosses backwards, spitting up blood, body arching off the ground, expression agonized. Something moves, inside his shirt, like it's trying to get out.)

(Unexpected factor; the gun vanishes, and the air around it swims, like something is-isn't-might be there.)
