*Once again wandering the halls, Misa cautiously opens a door, and her face lights ((hee, puns~)) up. It's a classic karaoke bar- an average bar with drinks and stools and everything, and then a small stage with a mic.

Being very familiar with this type of setting, having worked in it enough as she was making her way up to stardom, she walks in

Mello had been trying to find the way out ever since he had first gotten here. As he passed by the door that Misa had gone in he heard her sing and stuck his head in the room a moment curiously. He felt something push him inside and he glared behind him only to find there was no one there.
The crow on his arm cawed nervously as Mello walked over to the stage.He knew what this kind of place was due to him and his band performing in a place like this at one time.

He took a minute and slowly began to sing. He wasn't used to it, he was the lead guitarist not the singer in his band but the sound of his voice still showed that he had been practicing singing at one point in his carier in the band.

Wow! You're, uh, Mello, right? I never knew you could sing like that~

He looked at her and nodded
"Yeah I'm Mello nice to meet you." he said and bowed slightly with a smile on his face "I was in a band for a few years before Matt and I were killed.I usually was doing back up vocals and electric guitar."

*Misa isn't really sure how to respond to the statement "before Matt and I were killed", so... she just kind of rolls with it, and responds to the other part of what he said.*

Wow, that's so cool! Would I have heard of you? Oh, if you're saying "nice to meet you"... I'm Misa, by the way!

[Misa applaudes the other Misa's singing, and then takes the mic herself.]

Jack in a box and here I am

There's a Mello leaning on a wall clapping slightly, he smiled a little.
"Very good."

He smiles a little making the makeup on his face look slightly more twisted.
"Where you in a band in your world? I think you have the talent to be a singer in one."

Near sat in the back. He refused to sing. There was just no way. He wasn't a singer, and he hated being watched by people-- he never even sang in the shower.

*Misa finished her song and hopped, slightly reluctantly, off of the stage. She then saw Near in the back, smiled over at him, and walked over.*

Oh, hi Near! I didn't expect to see you here~ You wanna sing?

"No, thank you," Near shook his head quickly, "I'm not a singer."

Aw, you sure? But it's so much fun!! I can sing with you, if you want!

Matt walked into the room and stared at the stage a moment. He sat in the front watching as people were singing and as soon as the last person got on stage he walked up to the mic

All day staring at the ceiling

*Misa, having already finished and gotten off the stage, sees Matt go over to his seat and just sit down, and she sits down nearby him.*

Wow, that was pretty good! I never knew you could sing~

"I don't usually..." he said after a moment and smiled slightly "I hardly sing at all so I found the fact I could sing suprising as hell." he said the last part with a chuckle.
