Mello walked down the long hallway, counting the green bills that had been crushed into his hand when all was said and done. His blonde, sweaty locks hung over his paled face and he growled in dissatisfaction when he realized that the amount was less than he'd been expecting. Embarrassed, he shoved the money into his leather-clad pocket and huffed

Matt walks down the hall trying to find the mall room he had been in earlier and stopped in his tracks when he saw Mello. He hadn't seen a Mello in ages...well at least not since he had been back to the mansion.
He slowly walked over and offers a hand to the young man.
"Mello? You okay?"

"Another one..."

A confused Mello took Matt's hand and hoisted himself up with the redhead's support. He sighed and noted that this wasn't the one from his world either.

"I'm fine," he responded quietly, pursing his lip.

Matt looked Mello over quickly as if trying to read him. He offered a smile when his eyes met the blue ones of Mello.
"You sure?" he asked "So by the whole 'another one' thing I take it someone already explained this place to you right?"

Mello blinked at his smile, reminded of his own Matt. He refrained from letting a blush trail over his cheeks.

"I'm sure," he replied, "And yeah-- a Misa told me everything."

He nodded slightly and looked down the hall ″Did she show ya to the kitchen yet?I can do that if you want.Then after we can find ya a room er something if you would like.″

"Sure," Mello said, "I'm getting hungry."

He could really use a chocolate bar right now.

"Just don't bring me to any of the creepy rooms and I'll be fine."

"All right come on the kitchen is down stairs." Matt said and walked down the hall with Mello by his side "I would never do that to you."

Mello followed Matt down the stairs.

"Thanks," he muttered, "So... how long have you been here? What have things been like for you?"

"I've been here for a little over a year a think...then again it's hard to tell time so it's just a estimate. Things been like? You mean here or in my world?"

"I guess I mean both," Mello shrugged.

[mattygamer]

"Here...it's a pain but it's a little nicer then home. I can do whatever almost whatever I want here." he said "My world isn't that great...no Kira. My Mello isn't exactly the normal Mello everyone likes. He's more like a puppy,very clingy and all.He also has a crush on Near."
He paused
"It was actually pretty boring."
He game Mello a look "Tell me bout your world? Is there a Kira?"

Mello shuddered.

"Puppy? Crush on-- on Near?!" the blonde almost gagged.

"Yeah, there's a Kira," he said, "I was number two at Wammy's, that's all you need to know."

"Yup.Told you he's not a normal Mello." he gave him a serious look "Wasn't asking you to tell everything about you Mello. If there's something you don't want to tell me it's fine I don't care.I don't think it's my right to know everything about you anyways."
He paused a moment before smiling at him "But the stuff you said sounds like most of the peoples worlds here."

Mello stepped back at Matt's sudden snippiness. He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

"I hope that the other Mellos aren't like me," he muttered, "Or any of the other people, for that matter."

"Whys that?I think more Mellos should be like you.You seem nicer then most I'm suprised you don't have Matts falling head over heels for you yet." he said with a smile.

Mello blinked and his eyes widened.

"Wh-what?" he asked, "I'm not any nicer than anyone else!"

He pouted and glared away-- he knew that this Matt was right. He was too nice for his own good. His face flushed, turning a deep pink at the redhead's last comment. He wasn't sure whether to say 'thank you' or smack him.
