This isn't exactly what he expects when he walks through the front door of their apartment. Stopping abruptly, Matt stares at the hallway in front of him, fairly sure that it isn't his and Mello's hallway. He stands there a moment, fighting the little bit of frustration that probably just means he needs another damn smoke.
Turning as he pats himself down, he locates his pack and lighter as he reaches for the doorknob... but his fingertips brush against wall.
Blinking, he sighs. "Well. This's just fuckin' peachy."
