Light had been wandering the halls for a while. Ever since he had woken up he had been disoriented and confused. At one moment he had been sleeping next to L and the next he had woken up on the floor-fully dressed. At first he had thought the detective had knocked him off of the bed-that was until he realized that this place is in no way where he had gone to sleep the night before.
Had L taken him someplace new? Why? What was the purpose of this? And why was he no longer handcuffed? Surely if he weren't restrained L had to be watching from somewhere. But all the attempts he had made to call out to someone-anyone-had gone ignored.
In the time that he had spent wandering the cavernous halls Light had actually wandered into a room or two. Nothing seemed too strange except for one room that seemed to contain a whole forest-which was located right next to a bathroom. It was perplexing to say the least.
This had to be some kind of bizarre experiment.
“Alright, Ryuzaki,” His voice echoed a bit in the empty halls-someone had to be watching, “at least tell me what kind of test this is.” Light was sure it wasn't a test of any sort, but there was no other logical explanation at the moment-not that this place being some sort of test made any logical sense either but Light knew two things: first, he had gone to sleep next to L as usual and second, no one else had the ability to take him out of bed in the middle of the night and dump him in a random location.
