Beyond's sigh floated through the face mask. How long had it been? A year? Two years? Time disappears so easily when one is behind bars-well except for the numbers that counted down above people's heads.
Day in and day out it was the same. The same boring old monotony. B could feel his mind slipping away; he was becoming lethargic. This wasn't

“Lawli!” His voice was a low cruel growl. Yet he seemed as though he would break out into maniacal laughter at any moment.
(ooc: XD; Uh. Hi. Sorry, B kind of has a thing for and issues with his L; so this is bound to be a rough meeting.)

...Why was there no name? There was no lifespan either and-something was off. This wasn't the L he knew. What was this cheap imitation? B was offended; he was hurt. He had thought that he had finally gotten his L back and this is what he's given?!
B snarled. “Who or what are you!?” He began to dig his nails in to the neck of the false L.

What ever it was, it couldn't be allowed to live. Was it alive? It had no counter. B's brow furrowed, there was no time to consider philosophical questions about life or the universe-B would think more about it if and when this thing died.

His hands balled into fists. His eyes narrowed; there had to be something that he could use to beat this thing to death with but what? His eyes flicked back and forth as he looked around the hallway. He could see a candle stick near the end of the hall.
“Don't move.” That was all he said before he stomped off down the hall to fetch his weapon.

No, there was no time to think about it. B stepped through the door way. He had to find 'L'. B kneeled on the forest floor and examined the ground to look for any sign of which way his prey went.
“Come out, come out where ever you are~”

B's eyes narrowed as he thought. No, L couldn't be running; there was no sound of rustling underbrush. L must have been hiding or so far away by now that he couldn't hear him (which was probably wasn't the case). B scanned the forest floor for any irregularities; there were no solid foot prints but he was almost certain that he could make out a faint trail.
B smirked and darted off in a perpendicular direction.

B's running in an alternate direction was simply a ruse to lure out L while he circled around from behind. B was treading lightly in an attempt not to make a sound. By the time that L had come out of hiding B had already made the turn and was stealthily on his way back. That was when he heard the crack.
His eyes instantly shot to the direction of the sound. He could see the figure of his target. He smirked and gave up on stealth. B made a mad dash for L as he began running.
“You can run, but you can't hide!”
