Unusual Dream

*L wandered down the hallway slowly, inspecting his surroundings with dull curiosity. This certainly wasn't like most of his dreams, he thought. He wondered why his mind had put him here. As far as he could recall, this was no memory; in fact, he had yet to see anything familiar at all. Regardless, L was skeptical that the atmosphere would remain so passive. It was a rare occasion that L's dreams did not turn dark. In any case, sitting idly would do no good. It would probably be best if he uncovered the reason for his subconscious presence here.*
