You're in this weird alternate universe kind of place where people from all sorts of other universes are pulled in and there are weird rooms and stuff... at least, that's what I've been told. I'm fairly new here too... but, I mean, I can't really think of any other explanation or anything... and... we can't really get back. I'm sorry Light...

'Alternates'? [he's... confused, for lack of a better word and really rather be in his shop, serving his customer and -- wait! His customer! He closes his eyes, exhales, and the feeling of panic passes but he still feels quite guilty that he couldn't serve them now that he was stuck in some universe.]

Wow. [frowns] I... I don't know what to say. [he sighs] Well, I suppose I should get used to this. This... [he waves a hand] universe thing. [his frown stays and he looks down, thinking this whole thing over. This was very unfair, he concluded. He had nothing to do with these other 'Light's and 'Misa's and god knows who else. He was just a baker. That was it.]

I know... it is really weird and... annoying. Everyone wants to get back home too... but we're all stuck here.

*She looks sad for him for a moment, then remembers something that might make him happier~*

Oh but Light... if you're into baking, then this place might not be so bad for you! There are tons of kitchens here, and they're pretty good ones too, and... you can't ever run out of supplies in them! When I first came here, someone showed me one of them, and it was amazing... I can show you one too, if you want? If it'll help you feel better?

[his eyes widen at that and a smile breaks out across his face] Is there really? I'd love to see them. I don't want to intrude on your schedule though, so are you sure you want to take me? [he tilts his head to the side at this]

*She smiles happily at him, and sighs inwardly with, again, happiness at Light being there, even if he wasn't her Light. Not that her Light really loves her like she thinks he does or anything, but... shh. This was what she loved about him, too. He was always concerned about other people.*

Oh, no, don't worry about it. None of us have very much of a schedule here... and besides, I can always take some time out for you, Light. Of course I can take you there!

*She turns arounds, walks a few steps down the hallway, then turns back, making sure he's still with her.*

[he smiles. She was nice, very nice. At least nicer than the Misa in his universe. It always depended what mood she was in on how she dealt with Light, but she was a good friend nevertheless and made sure Light took care of himself.]

Thanks a lot then, Misa. [he gives a nod and begins to follow her, holding his cake and looking around as they walked. The place looked nice... cushy even... but it was definitely not home. He wondered where he was going to sleep.]

This place actually isn't so bad. I mean, it's weird, but... I don't think it's as bad as some people have said it's supposed to be~ *She turns back to smile at him again, and notices him carrying the cake.*

Oh, Light, I can get that for you, if you want? *She gestures to the cake.* I mean, you just came here and all, I know it's a little surprising... you shouldn't have to carry stuff around and everything~ *Oh, Misa. She literally couldn't do enough for Light.*

Oh? I hope it's not too bad, I wouldn't want to get caught up in anything... messy. [frowns but looks up as she talks about the cake]

Well, I'm actually not going to eat it, so if you'd like... [he pushes the cake towards her and smiles]

Yeah... I know what you mean. But I haven't experienced anything bad yet! When I first came here, someone was talking about how bad this place was and stuff, but I don't really get it... I mean, I just haven't had anything bad happen to me!

*Her face lights up. (Hee, puns~)* Thanks, Light! I'd love to try it~ *She picks up the fork and takes a bite, and literally stops dead in her tracks, closes her eyes and smiles as she swallows before opening her eyes and looking at him.* Light... this is amazing.
