[A man dressed up just like L arrived. His hair was messy and he wore dark make-up under his eyes. Beyond Birthday.
Beyond looked arround slightly confused. Well... This was supposed to be the apartment of Blues-harp Babysplit not some weird corridor. Okay, strange things could happen. B was an anime-fan after all, so it wasn't really  surprising.

*Coming down the hallway and seeing him from the side, Misa doesn't notice that he's not quite the Ryuzaki she knows and... doesn't particularly hate, per se, but wants to get rid of for Light. Even she can see the aura of "...the hell?" surrounding him though, having just been in it herself, so she walks towards him.*

Ryuzaki? Are you new here?

[Beyond looks at her confusedly. First off... Why doesthe girl have no lifespan? Until now the only one without a lifespan had always only been himself. And secound: Why does she know how he called himself? Trying to stay calm Beyond nodds, faking innocence]

I am indeed. What kind of place is this?

*Misa, naturally, notices none of this.*

It's... wow, I didn't think I'd be explaining this to someone so soon or anything- I just got here myself- but from what others have told me... we're in some kind of weird alternate universe type of place where people from other universes are drawn in, and the rooms are all weird and stuff... I know, it sounds really strange, but... apprantly, it's true.

*She comes closer, glances above his head, and furrows her eyebrows. She didn't remember Ryuzaki's real name, but she was pretty sure it wasn't Beyond Birthday... but she can't exactly say anything about it, so instead she just sits down on the floor nearby.*

[Oh. Great. It was really like in a TV series. Beyond only hopes it would be a nice one at least. Then he focusses back on Misa. Had she just looked at his name? No, that just couldn't be, he was just hallucinating.]

An alternate universe?
Can we leave it?

Ouch. That was the last thing B wanted to hear right now. Backup.
But the angryness only staid for a moment, then leaving it's place for a more important thought. This was L. Standing right in front of him. Beyond's lips curled into a grin.
"Yes. And it's a pleasant surprise to meet you here.

"No, nobody told me about it."
Beyond looked at L carefully, comparing how he looked like with how he imagined him to be.
He couldn't really say it was very pleasent to meet him during the last bit of his plan, but in the end he just felt happy that he was finally standing in front of him.
He had given up the hopes for meeting L someday and now there he was.
"It is. At least a bit."
