Clenchin' a stench of burnin' logics and a child with yearning optics...

[How long has he been staring at the wall in his room before he finally decided to venture out? Mello’s not sure, but one thing that he did find out the hard way is that no one was bullshitting when they told him that there’s no way to leave until the mansion is ready to up and spit him out.

And so he’s been hanging around in his room mostly, effectively avoiding anyone he would have to converse with. Too many worlds, too many different scenarios as to how shit plays out and so fuck it. He isn’t too keen on hanging around and listening to a bunch of bullshit theories on how it all might play out in his world.

Definitely too many fuckin Matts walking around for him to be comfortable.

So what happens the one time he decides to venture out and do something besides methodically and forcefully try every damn window in the corridors?

The room is empty upon his entrance, save for sporadically placed wooden chairs and a single table off to the far-right, and from the moment he steps through the doorway, it’s like any hope he’s ever held onto pertaining to getting out of this place falls out of his ass and he stares straight ahead for a moment and blinks as it settles over him like a thirty-ton weight.

He’s stuck here. Of course he is. He sinks down to the floor and just…stares.]

Fuck it.

[ooc: Welcome to the Abandon All Hope room. Here, characters enter and whatever their current aim is, whatever it is that they’re attempting to accomplish, they just…give up. It could be anything. A life quest, a book they’re reading, drinking a glass of water. They enter this room and are just done. They will be permitted to leave when they find a new aim, though it’s not mandatory that it overtakes their main one once they’re free of the room’s influence.]

!room, abandon all hope room, mello
