He was running from a pack of new zombies ones that were stronger than he had previously faced. He thought they couldn't swim! His clothes are soaked through and torn at the sleeves, hem, and pant-legs there are mild scratch marks on one leg but not severe for him to raise questions about. Matt stops dead in his tracks, observing the L standing before him. He was soaked practically to the bone! "Jesus H. Christ!" he mumbles, gawking without fully knowing it. "Where the hell'd you just come from? The motherfucking Amazon?"

"Thank God I can say hell no to that." Matt blinks twice before looking off to the left. "Ya don't seem much like a regular L... Or d'you prefer Lawliet?" Matt honestly prefers the familiarity of the full name, but he knows how L's can be... And this one seems like his Lawli before the whole B thing went down and shoved a permanent rod up his ass.

"L. Please call me L." It sounded too weird for his name to be said out loud and he preferred his code name.

"I'm from a different type of world as you know. I didn't have much of a choice when it comes to fighting these things." He used the term loosely like the mass amount of zombies didn't matter to him.

"You were there a different Matt though very talented when it came to the art of hacking and getting into the main database. We were planning an escape that went haywire because of some swimming zombies..."

Matt shrugs, though he's a bit disappointed inwardly. "L it is."

As he listens to L's description of ZombieWorld, he can't help but look the mess of a man up and down. "Seems like one crazy-ass place..."
