Misa-Misa!!! Oh it's great to see you too! What have you been up to??

Oh, not much. There's only so much to do here. But, I've been haning fun meeting the new people who come through here, and of course the best part is spending time with L.

::Taking a cracker, she gives a thank you and begins munching on it delicately, taking little nibbles. His comment about coffee makes her laugh::
I'm sure once someone new comes in, they'll be the coffee boy.

::she tilts her head slightly::
New cases? Is the Kira case over in your world?

[He bites his lip.] Yeah, it is... [He shakes the thought and smiles.] What are you up to today?

::she notes the change in him, how he changes the subject::
Today? Well, I'll be meeting L in the music room in just a little bit for practice.
::she pauses, then smiles softly, a bit sadly::
I'm sorry to go back to this subject, I get the feeling you don't want to talk about it, but, how was the Kira case resolved in your world? What happened to everyone?

[He takes a deep breath.]
Well, I guess if you've heard of lots of different worlds, this shouldn't be too much of a shock... Ryuuzaki, the Chief, Light... they all died. [He half-smiles.] It's strange to see everyone here, but in a way it's nice to be able to again.

Practice? Do you play an instrument? [He nudges her playfully.] Or is that code word for something else?

::she nods sadly::
Yes, I've heard. It makes me really sad, particularlly for Mrs. Yagami. She's so nice, and to have two of the most important people in her life taken from her, not to mention what happened to Sayu, if that happened in your world...it's just so horrible. The chain reaction, if L dies...I wish I could be stopped in all worlds.

::laughing heartyly, she shakes her head::
No no, it's not a code word. If we were going to do that I would have said something like, "we're going to spend some alone time together," or I'd be even more to the point, "we're going to have some fun."
But, I really do play an instrument. A few actually; piano, viola, violin, guitar, and a little bit of electric bass, but not enough to really do much other than make up stuff. I also sing, of course.
Do you play any instruments, Matsuda?

Ahh, that's great! I like singing for fun... usually just in bars or in my car, but... [He laughs awkwardly.] Although people have told me I'm not bad at it. And I dabbled a little in guitar back in college, but other than that, not really.

I'd love to see you perform!!
