A bedroom door opens, and a Light steps out, and makes a beeline for the tenth floor. Hands empty - no sketchbook in sight - he's walking faster than some people would run

::Passing by, Misa smiles:: Hello Light. Are you new? ::But, there's something familier about him. She pauses for a moment, staring at him a confused expression:: ...you seem familier, actually.
::her head tilts slightly, confused. What room has she been in where something with a Light happened? ...Oh. So this was that Light. Her eyes widen slightly, then go back to normal. She gives a shake of her head:: Ah, no, I should be the one appologizing, I practically tackled you.
::it's a bit uncomfortable for her. Has she known this was the other Light, she would have said hello and continued walking. Though, if L happened upon them, he would at least be able to understand why she had not known. Speaking of which, against her better judgement, she decides to ask:: ...are you...did a room change you?
:She eyes him for a moment: Yes, it seems so. That room did a number on many of us, it seems. You are well now, however. That's good. ::It doesn't really sound genuine, more of a "I'm keeping the conversation going." The possibilities of how he came to be healthy so quickly run through her head, some more frightening than others.::
[Ordinarily, he wouldn't begin to forget; this time's a little different, the room's events half-blotted out by what came afterwards. As with Misa herself, he's just going through the motions.
His mouth twists, becoming a little sharper: no doubt she'll report this straight back to L.]
That must have been difficult. But you resolved it, I'm sure.
::she nods quickly:: Yes. It really wasn't too much trouble at all. It was strange, though, the way the room made us all think what was happening in there was how we really felt. ::For a moment, she glances at his hand. He's dead- she had always wondered if he would actually bleed. Apparently, he did.:: It seems everything has been resolved for you as well. ::It a soft tone, oddly. More of a mental noting.::
[The sharp look doesn't begin to fade, for all that he sounds pleasant enough.]
I'd hesitate to say everything, Misa.
[He hasn't missed the glance down to his hand; she knows. Would Mel have told her? More likely L is distracting himself, and has warned her; it's interesting to speculate on how much he tells her.
How many people saw the blood, in the end? There are enough here who'll gossip, and enough uninvolved people to spread rumours. And this Misa - he can't help but remember her threats. I will destroy you. I wonder if you can regenerate body parts if they're separated between three different boxes.
It should be so obvious, that he's effectively like anyone else here, and yet it's not knowledge he wanted her to have.]
Shall I let you go? I'm sure you have things to be getting on with.
[There's no trace of what he's thinking in his soft, polite dismissal of her. It's not as if she wants to be there speaking with him, after all.]
::she nods softly nod:: Hmm, yes. The after effects of certain rooms can be rather prolonged.
::At his soft dismissal, she begins to move in around him in a backward fashion, moving toward her original goal, but keeping her front towards him. Casual, but able to keep an eye on him:: Yes, I suppose I should be going. I've been meaning to practice today. I-do be careful. Take care. ::And oddly, something in her expression softens. She's genuine, but sad, torn between knowing there is good in everyone yet knowing he would take everything from her in a heartbeat.::
((ooc:lol, freaked out, backward-walking Misa makes me laugh. :) ))

[He'd almost forgotten running into her before, and offers her a thin smile.]
I'm sorry about that room. You know how it is.

[The rooms, the people, it turns out one is as bad as the other. He matches the tilt of her head, considering her, calling back their conversation.]
No, I had some bad luck. But it's worked out well, as you see.
