*As he approaches Matt, L realizes that it's not likely to be anyone he knows, unless his own slightly younger double's boyfriend has had an unfortunate room encounter again. The toothbrush suggests that this is not the case.*

*A pointed glance at the toothbrush.*
Maybe you will come down the hall to the kitchen for a glass of water.
*He recognizes that he can't say much about passage through the corridors, as he would to those of Near's analogues who sat themselves merrily in the center of the floor and ignored that L himself would be irritated if he tripped over them.*
*If people have to sidle around the potential newcomer, too bad... but really, there appears to be enough space that sidling shouldn't be an issue. The primary question now is whether or not appearances, in this instance, are deceiving.*
[Matt never met the L who lived in Disturbia City; he's also kind of hoping that this isn't what he thinks it is. With a muffled sound that's supposed to mean 'yeah, sure,' he gestures at the guy to lead the way. Maybe he'll feel like less of an idiot when he... well, looks like less of an idiot. And can speak properly.]
*L proceeds to the kitchen, hearing the soft noises made by the chair's wheels as it follows him. When he reaches it, he walks to the sink, then takes out two glasses. He fills one with water, but only fills the other one halfway, then sets them both on the table.*
Spit into one, drink from the other. You will find a new toothbrush in your room when you find a room, so you might as well leave the one you have here.
*He waits for Matt to do this, so that his mouth will no longer be full.*
"hm?",Matsuda tilts his head for a second. This probably isn't a matt he knows yet. "Hello?",he greets embarressedly, almost completely obluvious to the fact you need somewhere to spit the foam.
