Matt walks into a room and - after a disorienting moment - finds himself sitting on a stool with an old, battered looking hat on his head.
"Hm," the Hat says, loud enough for anyone passing to overhear. "Dour, aren't you? That's alright, we can't all have sparkling personalities. Brave, but - ah, you don't care much about that, do you? Or about those brains of yours. Or about much else; you should probably get help for that, doesn't seem very healthy. But you're a hard worker, at least, so I think we'll go with HUFFLEPUFF!"
And with that, Matt's propelled back onto his feet. The muddied uniform he was wearing is gone, replaced by black robes over something a schoolkid might wear, complete with yellow tie.
What the hell just happened?
