Apparently the Mansion had found out A was better than the average resident at dancing. This was his reasoning anyway when he entered a room he expected to be a library, and instead found a grand ballroom of cherry wood floor and bay windows. It had no doubt been a while if dances had been held here, or perhaps this place had always been unused as the floor was not scuffed and the plush on the chairs was immaculate. Naturally that feeling of suffocating helplessness returned and he realized he was trapped when the door vanished. Aware that throwing chairs at the windows or where the door had been would not work (or anything else for that matter), he perched in a chair (knees to his chest), smoking a cigarette and trying to calm his nerves.
He raised his head up a bit when a slow yet steady stream of
The Blue Danube Waltz trickled down from somewhere unseen. He frowned as childhood memories of enduring dance class at his first orphanage came back to him. Namely of hiding under tables to avoid it, but that old woman had been very insistent, and had always somehow knew where he was.
You can forget about me dancing, I’m not your puppet on a string, He thought as he grasped the back of his neck with both hands. He disliked displaying his esoteric skills as it was and especially ones that he had not been taught at Wammy’s. He was of course too proud to dance on his own free will, though he had a feeling he was in for more humiliation.
A revisit of the
ballroom with a slight twist-A will be compelled to dance the waltz with anyone who enters. Meaning specifically he will try to take the waist and right hand of your character as the waltz is an old fashion couples dance and he will be compelled to take the lead. Your character is free to push him away however if they don’t feel like dancing or try to take the lead. Depending on who they are he may feel compelled to fight for the lead however. Okay namely if they’re a B because he’s a jerk like that.
