[The Mansion won't let anyone keep their secrets for long. Mikami should have remembered that. There'll always be a room that isn't the kitchen, right when you need it the least.
His body is covered in words. Covered in names, scrawled over every inch of his skin, dense and overlapping but most of them all too legible. The ink is wet. It won't blur the names away when he runs his hands over them, but it's soaking through his clothes, and leaves black smears on the wall when he touches the place where the door used to be.
The names aren't only those he wrote himself. 'Yagami Light' is scrawled across the back of his right hand, 'Takada Kiyomi' on his left. (And on his forehead, half-covered by hair and surrounded by others, not obvious unless you look closely, 'Mikami Haruko'.)
It's too much to hold back, impossible to hide, even if he could leave. His legs fail beneath him and he sinks to the floor, curled up in a corner, blackened hands covering his face. Beneath him, a puddle of ink is soaking into the carpet.]
