[There is an unattended child of perhaps 9 or 10 perched on a chair at the kitchen table, equally engrossed in both the open jar of strawberry jam and the stack of manga spread out on the table in front of him. It's B, obviously, and he's had an accidental encounter with the age reversal room.]

Having just left the Pokemon room, he's in a very good mood; so when he sees the little B he approaches with a curious smile.

"Hello. Are you new here?"

[He stares, calmly licking a bit of jam off his fingers.]

I've been around.

Near sits down across from him at the table, trying to ignore the creepiness in that stare.

"Oh, well. I haven't met you before. I'm Near."

[beyond_boredom]

Nice to meet you.

[He scoops a bit more jam out of the jar and begins to slowly lick it off his fingers.]

Please call me Ryuzaki.

He blinks at him, eying the jam.

"Okay. Ryuzaki."

Just like the L that he'd met, right?

"What flavour is that?"

Strawberry.

[Still licking his fingers]

Would you like some? I have more in the fridge.

Oh! Near likes Straw-Berry.

"I'd like some. Straw-Berry is good."

He gets off his chair, heading towards the fridge.

"Where did you put it?"

[beyond_boredom]

Middle shelf, all the way in the back, on the right. It stays colder there.

He didn't know that. He opens the fridge, reaches in, and finds it. He brings it back to the table, sitting down again.

"How do you open it?" he asks, turning it over in his hands and inspecting it all around.
