The moment he enters, he waits for the telltale sign of flashing gold particles as, just as he predicted, a small nightingale erupts from seemingly no where, flitting to his eye level to scold him furiously.]

[Matt was searching for Near, anyway, so he must have just missed IVY. But the moment he spots Near in the room, he enters. And mimics the WTF face.]

Near... there's a tiger... [He apparently hasn't noticed the moth that has taken residence on his sleeve.]

Many of us tend to be, one way or another. [The moth pipes up after the tiger speaks, fluttering into view long enough to latch onto Matt's shirt again, under the collar.

Matt doesn't look too pleased about having a bug on him, though.]

Okay, so... is this a jungle room or something?

Part of us? How so? [Moves to stand by Near, maybe a little protectively.]

The sensible parts, in any case. And please refrain from moving so much - holding on is enough hassle without you bouncing about. [She has to flap her wings to keep purchase on Matt's shirt, but she does settle.]

You said you were a 'part of us'. Could you elaborate?

[She flaps her wings in response, but settles quite happily after a second.]

[She's sent off Aenad, and flits back up to Matt's sleeve.] I am being nice. It is no fault of mine if he decides to play the silly fool. [There is deep affection in her tone, though.]

They really can be stubborn at times. [Also teasing.]

So. If you're a part of our souls... aren't you supposed to be... y'know, intangible?

Yeah. I suppose we just... never thought about it much? [Runs a finger down Brienne's back, chuckling when she flaps her wings to bat at him.]

That tends to be the human way of thinking. If you can't see or feel it, you believe it's not really there.
