let's make some noise (music room)

Things have not been going well for Misa since his arrival at the Mansion a few months ago. Pulled away from his career-making solo-debut concert at Budokan, he encountered a much younger version of his beloved girlfriend Light, who wants very little to do with him (especially since the Secrets Room exposed his relations with groupies).

He hasn't had much to do; even moping in his room became intolerably boring after a while. He tried dying in the Horror Movie room, which was too traumatic to do more than once or twice; lost his guitar pick in the Gameworks room; ran around as an eight-year-old for a few days without anyone noticing, and so on. His gregarious nature means that he's feeling quite lonely, but his depression has kept him from making many friends.

Eventually, though, he ran across a room full of musical instruments. His interest in songwriting has been reignited, and he's now visiting the room for at least several hours almost every day. He feels more creative than he has in months.

At the moment, he sits on a stool with a guitar on his knee and a notebook in front of him on a table. A pen is clenched between his teeth. He tries out a riff several times, adjusting small elements until he's happy with them, then makes a note of what he did. It seems to be some sort of love song, and if he were back in Tokyo, it would stand a good chance of being a big hit.

But he's not in Tokyo, is he?
