Learning to play D&D version 3.5 - Please help a newby out
My bf is a hardcore D&D fanatic. He is usually the DM in his group and they have played together for years. He bought me the main 3 books from version 3.5 and 2 other books so I can learn how to play. The problem is that he lives over an hour from me and we just can't seem to get a game together. I want to learn how to play because it seems like it would be a lot of fun. He ran a short basic rp game he made up when a few of us went out of town a few weeks ago.
Can anyone help me get into a game or give me some pointers? I was thinking about making a cleric character. I'm new to this site.
