On the bouelevard of broken dreams?
Well, the word is out. All of u know wut im talkin about. There is no need to rewrite who's who cuz u already noe. (if u honestly dont noe please reply back). I am gonna say a few words though, because i feel it is necessary to confront the issue dead on.
We are walking on a thin line here right now. A change in command has occured, and this unit is 15 cadets away from ceasing to exist. My deepest fear is not, "Can Calleja do it?" (cuz trust me, she can), but, "Who's gonna quit on me? Who's gonna quit ON THE UNIT?"
I'm afraid these people will be those that have done alot for the unit, not the lazy bastards. And these people are the ones closest to me.
Why are you NS-2 so pissed about the current situation? Its good that u expect a lot out of urselves, but my God, u guys are talking like if u dont get this, ur gonna quit, or u aint gonna work as hard. Lemme explain to u why ur strategy (the same one myself, Villa, and Estriplet) failed last year compared to us.
For one, you guys had to pit urselves against other "competent" NS-1's, being Chia, Prieto, Navarro, Fersch, Gray, Gonzalez (both cuz of leadership), Gaibor, Tandazo, and others.
Wut did us three (V-N-E) face? Barely nethin, at the time.
Suazo and Prieto that were PO3 (although going to leadership) and "minimal resistance" from Ortiz, Moreno, Ross, Acero, Calleja, and other NS-3's.
U adopted our strategy with the hope that it would work the magic it did for the "Big Three" of the 03-04 year. Unfortunately it didnt cuz u had more "competent" talent to face. We didnt.
Also, you guys didnt do nethin special. You might have worked hard, but that was just being a follower. The Big Three actually did somethin. Estriplet basically led Supply for the last half of the year, I brought the Academic Team out of its misery, and Villalonga was laying his foundation for everyone to see that one day, HE WOULD become Drill Team Commander.
Whats was ur resume? ..............................? Nothing.
Im not trying to bash u guys into submission. To say, "I surrender, I quit." For God sake's I want u to do the opposite. I want u to START DOING THINGS ON UR OWN. Stop following the flow, and start distinguishing urselves. Yes, one of u has done outstanding work in Supply, and Gunny sees that everyday (I kid u not, I swear under my throat). The other is only receiving honorable mentions. We have deprived u guys of that victory because Estriplet already improved Supply, while the other things we did are up to u to follow up. You guys need to do somethin that will DISTINGUISH U from the rest, not just fold clothes like everyone else. WAKE UR ASSES UP AND DO SOMETHIN OTHER THAN SUPPLY. Well, u cant now, cuz one of u HAS TO STAY in supply to help Ross, while the other has to decide his future.
The plan didnt work. Live with it. Now u have to wait till the spoils come. Trust me, they will. Till then, wait. Unless, you can come up with something ENTIRELY on ur own.....
