i wrote this quote last year as my inspirational reflection for ninth grade, and well, i think it sort of speaks for itself. i'm a photographer, so i know what it's like to want to click and shoot every little aspect of life. but even then, i just think it's important to remember that no matter how hard we try, we can't ever capture everything. so we have to just be able to live our lives and make the memories last for as long as we can.
Likes: art, music, photography, theatre; i also have a strange affinity for snark, banter, and sadism. i'm not good at any of them myself, but i respect those people who are.
Dislikes: random/stupid/pointless/obnoxious humor, actions, and people; unoriginality; any sort of extreme conflict.
*note, i said extreme. as in, war and stuff.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Why? i like drawing and writing and taking pictures of things; i like pretending i'm a little kid and blowing bubbles and playing in the park; i like going to concerts; i like hanging out with friends.
Who do you look up to as a model for how to live your life? Why? no one in particular. i guess, anyone who has sacrificed what other people told them was important for what they knew was important to them.
Your best quality? Why? my honesty. sure, sometimes it leads to nasty situations and sometimes, people don't want to hear it. but at least i know what i say matters and people can trust me when i talk to them.
Your worst? Why? it's hard to change my opinions about things. i don't make my judgments right away, but when i do finally come to a decision, i stick to it; even if it's the wrong one.
The world's not a perfect place. What would you want to change about it? Why? there's a lot of things i would like to change. i wish people weren't so ignorant. i wish they were more intelligent. i wish they actually cared about things. but most of all, i wish they just took time to appreciate things. i think it'd make them a heck of a lot happier.
You're not perfect, either. What would you change about yourself? Why? i wish i wasn't so afraid of what people think about me and that i followed my own advice.
Do you believe in people? sometimes.
In yourself? i wish i did.
If you were given the chance to become one of the characters for a short period of time, who would you choose? Why? i'd actually want to become either wiz or satoshi: the first for amusement; the second because i just want to know how the guy thinks.
Anything else? you've caught me in one of my calm moods. i think i'll have to reapply again later, once i'm feeling a little more snarky. ;]
