Creepiest start to a work night
Tonight i came into work and my boss told me i had a package - weird? i thought so. it was a big envelope, no return address, postmarked out of bolton hill. it was addressed to "holland" and then the address of the club. first creepy thing: the name and address aren't written, they are put on with scratch-off letters. Open said envelope, to find...Another Envelope! this one is blank. Inside i find a casette tape. On both sides it says, in sticker letters, "HOLLAND." what??? creepy!!! play it!!! first song: "this is dedicated to the one i love." second song, postal service. third song, something indie with the refrain "She will die tomorrrow." WTF. it goes on, both sides full, including Bjork, 3 versions of "every little thing she does is magic," marvin gaye, and one with the repeated lyrics, "You've got a secret admirer, and I've got a secret - it's You!"
I AM SO CREEPED OUT. i don't know who the hell sent this, and why they would be so creepy and SO anonymous. Joy got Tony to call in a favor from a friend and now the police are finger-printing it. heh. that part is pretty funny. but anyway, yeah, scary. but if this is a joke from one of you guys - let me know!! cause GEEZ. Great effort...but NOT FUNNY. ;)
oh but ps. Religulous - absolutely grand. probably offensive if you are religious and don't have a sense of humor about it. but seriously, great movie.
