Name: Marika
Age: Approximately 8415360 minutes.
Height: 4'11".
Personality: Sarcastic, introverted, and obsessive.
Strengths: I'm determined, pragmatic, and honest. I am also loyal and protective. I can take on a large project and keep at it until it's finished, and I can usually help my friends if they ask for it. Also, I collect a lot of obscure facts that aren't always useless.
Weaknesses: I'm physically disabled, obsessive, defensive, too honest, half-overly-realistic and half-cynical, and I can't add or name the U.S. presidents. I worry about everything. I don't like leaving the house and, as such, rarely do.
Bad Habits: I organize everything, I push myself too far, I chew on my nails, I build eraser castles when I should be working, and everything gets related to books. ("That reminds me of this line in Good Omens...*quotes!*" and "Well, in book #?? of The Baby-Sitters Club...*details plot!*" are two things I say several times daily.)
Likes: Writing, reading (urban fantasy and comedy), word games, anime, synth pop, Three's Company, glitter, cats, the colour pink, particularly shiny jewelry/toys/random objects, and vague references to bizarre things in everyday life.
Dislikes: Writer's block, the majority of urban fantasy and comedy writers, pronouncing words wrong, shoujo anime, Nirvana, Law & Order, spiders, yellow and blue decor in the same room, overly-emotional people, and pop culture references I don't get.
Hobbies: I watch a lot of anime and movies, and I write. I run a music rotation site and enjoy reading, drawing, and pixel art. I may also read a lot of comics.
Talents: Writing, website/graphic design, and ridiculous crafty stuff like jewelry-making.
Interests: Technically, this question is identical to 'likes', but you don't have to like something to be interested in it. I am, then, interested in hallucinogens, mental illnesses, and prostitution.
Favourite character: Near. He's an incredibly endearing character, because he comes off as childlike, but then you realize he's realistic and blunt and kind of a jerk sometimes, and totally brilliant. Also, he has really cool toys and fabulous hair. =D L comes close, though.
Least favourite character: It's a tie between Light and Misa. Misa is irritatingly submissive and has questionable taste in men, and Light's a conceited jerk with a God complex to out-crazy all others.
Would you use the Death Note?: Most likely not. I'd stare at it for six hours straight, dying of curiosity and holding a pen, and then give up and get rid of it. Anyway, it seems to me like a cop-out. If you were going to kill someone, it'd be nicer to do it with your own hands. You'd still be in the wrong and possibly quite insane, but at least you'd have 'do-it-yourselfer' on your list of good qualities.
Who would you use it on, and why?: N/A.
Do you support Kira?: No. A crime-free world is utopia, but you can't get that by going around killing people. If we wanted a world free of interesting stuff crime, it's best to do it through being human and wanting it to exist, not trying to be a god and forcing it to exist.
Anything else you'd like to add?: Not really.
