Alrighty, one question: How many winners will there be a week? Will there be a third place, second place, etc? Or will their be one winner?

I'm so excited! I really need to work on my writing skills and I feel this will be a great opportunity to get feedback.

(Plus I love writing Soichiro/Raito fanfics.)

For now, there will only be one winner. I don't know if there are going to enough entries for more than one, and I don't want to overwork my banner-maker. If the community gets bigger, and there are enough entries to warrant it (and if someone else wants to help out with the extra banners), there may be more than one winner in the future.

Hopefully this will be a good place for that. I find that prompt communities really help me to write things I'm not accustomed to, and to expand my horizons. Plus, trying to win is good motivations.

Soichiro/Light? That's pretty edgy. I've never seen that particular pairing done well, but I bet you can do it! I wish you luck!

Nope, no length limit! Your entries can be as long or as short as you want them to be.

Ah, yes, there will be. That was actually mentioned in the userinfo. They will be made by raikune, since I myself am totally lacking in graphic skills. So yes, if you win, you'll get a pretty banner. :D

Deadlines make me nervous, but I'll lurk and see. I think working with prompts can only strengthen one's skillz as a writer, so I'm interested. I can't believe this is the first of its kind for Death Note. An idea whose time has come!

Okay, glad to have you aboard! Even if you don't want to write anything, you can still vote, which would be really helpful. :D And yes, that's why I started this--personally prompts have been really helpful to me. If see one that inspires you, go for it, if not, lurking is awesome too.
