“Bring Yagami in here.”
The order is clear, and the man doing the blonde's bidding cannot object to his wishes. The man tells Soichiro about a door that he must go through to get to his daughter's kidnapper. This wasn't what the older man agreed to - the notebook was supposed to be exchanged for his daughter, instead, it was as if the game was becoming that of a cat and mouse. He looked down the hallway at a dim light that was being emitted from a room. It must be the room that the kidnapper is in, Soichiro thinks, walking in the direction of the light. He has broken into a sweat, wondering what will happen to him once he steps into that room.
Now he's at the door, about to step in.
“Soichiro Yagami,” a voice says seductively, “stay right there.”
The forty-two year old can do nothing but stand there. If this was indeed the man that kidnapped his daughter, he would have to listen to his every command. “Please, release Sayu, don't harm her.”
A soft chuckle could be heard, followed by the click of a gun.
“Please! This is between you and I, not my daughter!”
Mello found it hard not to burst into hysterical laughter. “Oh, I'm not going to hurt your daughter, papa!”
Soichiro's eyes grew extremely wide. Papa?
“I'm going to reveal myself to you, but you must drop your weapons now. And trust me,” the younger of the two paused, “I will know if you deceive me.”
Soichiro did as the criminal said, he dropped his gun on the ground along with his knife. Mello smirked as he watched the man on the monitor in front of him. “Good. Come in.”
Soichiro was shocked. This was the person that was behind all of this?
Mello smiled, “Surprised, papa?”
Soichiro gulped, he didn't like the look in the teen's blue eyes when he said that.
