1990s I think - it’s the annexe to a house from 1886

There is no local corner shop. Our village doesn’t have any shops at all

Too far! It takes over an hour to get to the sea from here

I have several, I find them kind of annoying but useful when I need to carry lots of stuff.

Sort of, we’re allowed to use a bit of the garden. It’s a horrible overgrown mess but we have plans for it.

The house we’re in the annexe to was built by the family of Sybil Marshall a well known author on local history. It’s even written up in one of her books. There are quite a few artists and authors around.
