But I know enough about you to know that you are a true and loyal friend and will do everything that you can to be there for the people that matter to you, even if they're being total idiots. You're determined to see the good in people and won't be drawn into slagging them off. I hope that one day you'll count me among the people you defend that well
kissycat1000 - I did not need a special icon to know that you are completely awesome. Meeting you was all the proof I could ever need. You are such a lovely, friendly, welcoming person. Your kids are testament to what a great mum you are - you have fun with them, take all the problems that life throws them in your stride and somehow cope when others would crumble - you genuinely try to do the best possible for them at all times however hard it is. You are a superb example of how to make a poly family work - the love between you and yours is positively tangible and an absolute joy to be around. You have the hottest and nicest girl and boyfriends and have the sense to really appreciate them. You also offer great advice, give good hug and are absolutely stunningly gorgeous.
araispoetry - Dude, you don't need compliments from me, there can't be anyone who hasn't noticed just how bloody amazing you are! I mean, those pictures of you in that chainmail bikini are still the most viewed images on my flickr account ever and they were nowhere near as gorgeous as the real thing. Then there's the brains - you are overflowing with smart and are well on your way to saving lives, that's totally cool. You impress me with how hard you are willing to work for the things that matter to you, and you impress me even more with your capacity for fun and silliness when you aren't working. Heck, you even dressed up as a superhero and mudwrestled my darling daughter - how many people can claim to have done that? And you have a real flair for design and can sing too - I'm not sure how many people are totally lacking in talent cos you got their share but it must be enough to populate a small town at least.

So instead let me say how much I appreciate the soothing and calming company you provide, and of course how much I appreciate the difference you have made to Gary, you were always willing to put up with us when the neighbours from hell were driving him (us?) mad, and have been there to help through all sorts of other problems. I think he'd be even more crazy without you and not in the good way we love!

You are outrageously sexy and lovely and proof positive that you don't have to be 18 and built like a twig to make men swoon. You seem to have endless reserves of compassion and wisdom and always seem to find the right words when life is getting people down, and when there aren't any right words nannyhugs are always available and unbeatable. You talk bloody good sense too and aren't just fluffy with no substance. I feel really proud to consider you a friend and I just wish I got to see you more often.
