"Q" Date

On Friday night, my gf and I had our first Alphabet Date. For the first one, we not-so-randomly chosen 'Q' to be the first date a week in advance. The activity we chose to do is "20 Questions" or at least a variation of it. The purpose of this was to use the first of the 26 dates to get to know each other.

So during this week, we took the time to write 20 questions each and basically put it together in a box. So we met up and after making dinner (Spaghetti with meatsauce... yea it doesn't start with a 'Q' but 'Q' isn't the easiest letter to come up with food and activities), we started the questions.

Let me explain how we made the rules for this game. There were 40 questions in the box. We would each take turns picking up a question. Person A would pick up a question and answer the question on the sheet. After, Person A may ask Person B to answer the question... at a price/punishment. If that Person A accepts the punishment, Person B would answer the question too. Once Person B answers, it goes back to Person A to choose another question.

Having experience from playing with other friends, creating the questions wasn't that hard. For my gf's sake, I've kept the intensity of the questions to a minimum since it is her first time. I threw in a few questions that were deemed difficult for her.

some of the questions we answered includes:
- If the world were to end, how would you spend your last day?
- Tell the other person something they don't know about you (or in the form of a question: What is one thing we do not know about you?)
- What is one quality that you like about yourself?
- Who are the top 5 people in your life?

After a few minutes into the game, my gf realized that anything goes in this game (I have a strong suspicion that we'll be playing this game again with greater intensity). We played for an hour or so and then called it a night. We've probably answered about 15 questions or so that night and will finish it another night.

Overall, it was a good night. We found out interesting things about each other, had fun doing it, and we spent some good quality time together.

We've picked the next letter for the next date already. The next one will be the letter "P". This one will be much easier to work with. Any suggestions?
